Driving Organisational Effectiveness & Leadership Capability

Hello, and thanks for finding your way here. I am Tracy Filler.

I’m an independent leadership and organisational adviser, working with owners, boards and senior leaders when a business is growing, changing or preparing for its next chapter.

Clients bring me in when they need more than a recommendation. I help them uncover what is really happening beneath the surface, understand the leadership, people and organisational dynamics at play, and turn that insight into practical action.

I bring nearly two decades of experience supporting leaders and organisations, alongside my own background in recruitment, sales and multi-site leadership. As an ILM Level 7 Executive Coach and Mentor and a member of the Applied Neuroscience Association, my work is professionally grounded, but always commercially practical.

I work across the UK, North America and APAC, supporting owners, executive teams and individual leaders. That breadth allows me to move between the bigger organisational picture and the people responsible for making change happen.

I hold up the mirror when reality checks are needed, bringing clarity, not judgement, and helping people find a practical route forward.

ABOUT TRACY

A trusted partner for leaders shaping
what comes next.

What I bring

to the room

01    A strategic sounding board

Space for bold thinking, honest reflection and better-quality decisions.

02   A whole-system perspective

I look at the connections between strategy, structure, culture, capability and the people expected to deliver.

03   Commercial and human understanding

I understand that lasting change must work for the people involved and make sense for the business.

04  The confidence to surface what others may avoid
I ask the questions that help leaders see what is really happening, without blame or unnecessary conflict.

05   Support that stays close to execution

My work does not end with a report or recommendation. I help leaders implement and transform.

06   Leadership development in context

I strengthen leaders through the real situations they are facing, so development is relevant, practical and immediately useful.

An intentionally small practice

I work closely with a select number of organisations at any one time. This is a deliberate choice. It allows me to understand each business properly, build trusted relationships and remain close enough to the work to be useful as decisions move into action.

I often describe my role as keeping one foot firmly in the business and one foot outside it. One keeps me close enough to understand the people, history, pressures and commercial reality. The other keeps me aware of the wider context and objective enough to challenge thinking, say what needs to be said and notice what those closest to the business may no longer see.

I choose partnerships where there is a genuine appetite for change, and where leaders are willing to examine not only what needs to change around them, but how they may need to think, lead and behave differently too.

My principle is simple: for as long as I am useful, I will continue to contribute. When the organisation is ready to carry the work forward without me, I step back.

Alongside my client work, I co-created and co-host Brainy Podcasts with applied organisational neuroscientist Soraya Shaw.

Together, we explore the foundations of creativity, innovation and critical thinking: how to create environments that allow the social brain to work without unnecessary barriers; why brain health matters for confidence, gravitas and resilience; and how neuroplasticity can help us shape new behaviours, thinking patterns and emotional regulation.

Brainy keeps me connected to emerging ideas, different perspectives and fascinating people doing meaningful work.

Building better conversations about how
we think, work and lead.
